Due to the COVID-19 virus, supply chains for vape products around the world have been disrupted. As a result, our inventory numbers for many products are lower than normal.
What does this mean?
Many vape products come from areas disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 virus. For example, Flavor Art—which is located in Italy—produces many of the flavouring agents used in juices manufactured in North America and elsewhere. Due to the outbreak in Italy, manufacturers in North America have limited stock of their flavourings, and are therefore not able to produce the volume of juices the industry is typically used to, which has led to widespread supply chain issues for your favourite retailers.
We recommend you order extra quantities of your favourite products, when available, to help guarantee you won't be stuck without coils or your favourite juice.
At this time, we appreciate your patience and want to assure you that in terms of juice, coils, and hardware our team is working diligently to bring in what we can when we can. We understand the inconvenience this may cause, and apologize for it in advance. At this current moment, the conservative estimate for wait times for some products is between 3-5+ weeks. This time period could increase or decrease in the coming weeks depending on the COVID-19 situation around the world.
Furthermore, as we and others continue to work through this, we would like to address how we're doing our part to maintain proper business practices. For starters, extra sanitation methods have been implemented in our retail location, such as increased and proper handwashing. We are already known for being a retail location that takes pride in our hygienic practices, and have often been complimented on it from distributors, representatives, government employees, and customers alike; but, we always recognize when there's room for improvement. These measures have been met with positivity from staff and customers and extends to our online side as well. We've taken extra measures to ensure that orders are being picked and packed only after extra hygiene methods have been observed (i.e. hand washing before picking orders and an additional hand wash while the orders are being packed). During this time, we've also let our employees know that if they, at any point, do not feel 100% well to please not attend work at this time.
When it comes to items in the mail, we can advise that the PHAC and the World Health Organization (WHO) continue to state that there is a very low risk regarding incoming mail items. This, coupled with our increased sanitation efforts, means you can rest assured that your packages are safe.
While Canada, along with the world, continues to feel the impact of COVID-19 outbreak, it is important for everyone—governments, businesses, and citizens alike—to remain positive. The current risk for Albertans and Canadians is low.
